When you are looking for a gift for a new baby, christening or 1st birthday for somebody that is on their 3rd or 4th it is pretty hard. They already have the essentials like cot, buggy and bottles. They also have their favourite and preferred brand of items. And let me tell you when you get to the fourth child there is nowhere to put the amount of silver giftware. Don’t get me started on milestone books. I think I have only filled in one of them for my first Callum and its only up to the day he came home from hospital. I have a stack of them somewhere.
Charlie is the forgotten child, I think being the fourth it comes with the territory. I’m sitting in my sitting room now looking at my walls full of pictures, not one of him up yet and hes 16 months old. The child doesn’t even have his own clothes. Most of them are passed down from when his brother was a baby. Even down to his soother, I seen him sucking a pink one the other day. I really don’t know where he got it from.
More about Bamboom
Bamboom is an Irish company based in Galway. Set up by a very busy mama of two the youngest which is only 7 weeks. Beata started the online business in July 2017 with only 14 products, she now has 60. I’m pretty sure that she has plenty more ideas in that creative mind of hers. From personalised baby blankets, pillows, towels, baby name buntings, bibs and personalised bandanas and even whole cots sets, also some gym towels and if she doesn’t have what you want there is a special create your own section on the website.
She makes 90% of the products herself all in her own home while managing a young family. I am in awe of her. I really liked how I got to pick what colour fabric I wanted. Betta asked me what colour scheme I had in the room. She used her aesthetic creativity and sent me pictures of different ideas. Comunication with her was easy and fast throughout the whole process.
How I came to know about Bamboom
I was surfing the web late one night and came across the website Bamboom.ie. I fell in love with the blankets and the first one I saw was the perfect match for Charlie’s already black/ grey & yellow bedroom. Which was another hand-me-down from his big brother. Callum moved out of the box room 6 months after decorating it for him and I just stuck Charlie’s cot in there. It was so easy to order the blanket. Beata was very attentive emailing to ask me a lot of different questions about my order, like fabric style and colour. I was gifted a bunting in exchange of prosuing this post. I love them both they ares perfect I love how it now makes the room his.
What I love about this product is that they are unique & personalised. The fact that they are Irish handmade. Supporting local small business.
The beautiful Beata, from Bamboom, has given me a blanket set to give away over on my facebook page. this would make a beautiful gift to any baby. All you have to do it to like the post and tag a friend in it. The winner will be picked by the 30th April 2018,
Bamboom gifted me the bunting in exchange for my review. I did, however, purchase the blanket first, and as always all opinions are my own. Please have a look at my Disclosure page
